The 2015-16 Season was fairly ordinary with only a few wins at selected regattas.Being a hot summer a decision was made not to compete at a couple of venues. A couple of guys had time out for a bit of body maintenance which had a bit of effect with crew selection. The Annual Regatta on 9th April was once again a success with perfect weather.

The two M's together with new comers Chelsea Jarrod and Ella Denver have joined ranks and have been training as a quad four. It is anticipated they will row a quad, double and perhaps a couple of sculls.

It was disappointing that of the 70 odd students in year 8,9,and 10 from the Mannum Community College who participated on the rowing machines, not one took up the offer to go to the next level of trying out on the water.

The Lease with Council and the Rowing Club has been finalized together with the Licence with the RSL.

The grant for the Defibrillator was unsuccessful.

New table tops have been fitted together with the purchase of a  new set of crockery ( 150 sets of 3 ) giving a uniform set instead of bits and pieces. The hiring of the Club rooms is still popular with different groups.

In May a Cabaret Revival Cabaret was held with many good reports and requests for another. In the years gone, these were a main fund raiser. It is a possibility that another may be held in October

The AGM was held on 31st July with a good attendance . See Home page for Details.
