Social rowing for men and women continues on Sunday mornings at 7.am. Sessions usually last about an hour, depending on how you feel from the night before !!  No experience is neccessary as we have some experienced people to help you along. Those wanting to try out come along at 8am.

The 2018-19 Season was fairly ordinary with only a few wins at selected regattas.Being a hot summer a decision was made not to compete at a couple of venues. A couple of guys had time out for a bit of body maintenance which had a bit of effect with crew selection. The Annual Regatta on 6th April was once again a success with perfect weather.

Madison Cook and Ella Denver have continued  training in single scull and double sculls. At the Renmark Regatta in Dec 2019 Madi and Ella won their 2nd grade Open Womens Double.  Madison won her 2nd grade Division scull while Ella came 2nd in her Division. They also combined with two Murray Bridge Girls to win the 3rd grade Womens Quad. The girls continue to be successfull in small boat regattas in winning sculls and doubles. John Banks 85 continues to win his scull races and combining with Max Lindsay 76 in the double scull in  I Division.  The Mannum Regatta for Season 19-20 is to be held on April 4th April.

It was disappointing that of the 70 odd students in year 8,9,and 10 from the Mannum Community College who participated on the rowing machines, not one took up the offer to go to the next level of trying out on the water.

A  Defibrillator was acquired through Clubs S.A. and is situated at the front of the Club Rooms together with signage.

The Sounds By The River was once again a success , Thanks to all the Volunteers.

The NEW ! Floating Pontoon has finally been Completed  with it's 1st trial on the All Steamed Up Weekend and the April 6th Regatta . Had good reports all round. A control System is located in the Club Rooms as well. Being Multi use a bit of damage is being caused to the rubber buffers.

We still have a group of rowers  that train 6.30 a.m. Monday, Wednesday, Thursday and Sunday at 7 a.m.( summer time , with come and try at 8am

We have been conducting Come and Try on Wednesday arvo at 3pm( as school finishes at 2.30 pm on that day) for the young ones, some being 9,10 and 11 year olds. They tend to adapt like a duck to water.

The AGM was held on 31st July with a good attendance . See Home page for Details.

Due to the COVID 19 Virus all regatta's were cancelled together with all other sports and gatherings. We can say that the Mannum Regatta had been held every year since 1911 apart from the War Years , Floods and occasional rough weather . We can now add to that, Cancelled due to the Corona Virus.

On an upside once again our young girls took out back to back the Country Women's Country Premiership for 2019-20
