The 2017-18 Season was fairly ordinary with only a few wins at selected regattas.Being a hot summer a decision was made not to compete at a couple of venues. A couple of guys had time out for a bit of body maintenance which had a bit of effect with crew selection. The Annual Regatta on 9th April was once again a success with perfect weather.
Madison Cook and Ella Denver have joined ranks and have been training in single scull and double sculls. At the Berri Regatta in Dec 2018 Ella took out the 2nd grade Open Womens scull with Madison coming in a close 3rd. Great Effort !!

It was disappointing that of the 70 odd students in year 8,9,and 10 from the Mannum Community College who participated on the rowing machines, not one took up the offer to go to the next level of trying out on the water.
